Almost the weekend!

Tonight we are going along to watch our daughter's Rookie Fashion Show.
We are very proud that she has been at University for one year doing a diploma and three years doing her degree. She has worked very hard going in most weekends and working at home in the evenings. Victoria is thinking of doing a Post Graduate as that is often the only way to get into some of the Fashion houses in Paris and Italy, which she would ideally like to do.

Update
Oh no... I have deleted my last post by mistake.
Many thanks for visiting and wishing Victoria well with her show ~ it went really well and I hope to share some photos with you, soon.

We are driving back down to Tauranga this afternoon again, to finish the sorting, tidying and cleaning of my Family home.
If I do not have time to visit your blogs before I go away, I will do it when I get back.
Just want to wish you a very happy weekend

Hugs
Carolyn

Have a happy weekend

Rodney Smith photo.

Well it has been one of these weekends.
I woke up this morning with a yucky sore throat, so I made a hot lemon and honey drink, which seems to have helped.

My dear old Dad had to go into hospital on Thursday with ongoing problems related to prostate cancer and is coming out tomorrow.
I will go down on Monday and stay with them for a few days.

Also my computer went on the blink, kept turning itself off and then the final straw was yesterday it had lots of wavy, blurry lines, that kept appearing. I am using our daughters computer, as she also has a laptop, until mine comes back from the repair shop.

I have also been adjusting a black Merino wool overcoat that did belong to my Husband.
He had bought a new coat, so for our Son to be able to wear it needed some alterations.
There was so much work in doing this as it was all lined and I needed to take all the seams undone and make it smaller. He now seems happy with his new/old coat.

I look forward to seeing you when I return.

I wonder what you are doing for your weekend?
Have a happy weekend
Hugs

The colour red!

Wishing all my friends, a very happy Fourth of July!
May you have a wonderful and safe long weekend.

Music legend - Chuck Berry holds his cherry red guitar. With early classics like Rock Rock Rock and Johnny B Goode, was considered one of the great rock and roll pioneers - National Geographic.
I love the colour Red.
It is always such a bright and rich colour. From the red of a strawberry and cherry to a glass of Pinot Noir.

Here are a few images, I would like to share with you.
Have a great day!
