Hello everyone!
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend
On my walk back from having my hair done on Friday, I couldn't resist buying these pretty peonies.
They are only around for such a short time so did not want to miss out.
Every girl needs to treat herself now and again and I am sure you would agree with me.
Another thing I enjoy is relaxing with candle light, makes the room so cozy and romantic
Makes waking up early a pleasure, when you can look out the window to see a beautiful sunrise
Today the peonies have opened up and I think they look like a frilly petticoat.
Happiness is about loving what you have and been grateful for it.
Enjoy the rest of your day
hugs

Thank you for your visit and the decorating has been going slowly. As the weather has been lovely have been spending time out in the garden and will wait until a rainy day before I do anymore.

Dear Carolyn, you've shared some beautiful images. A wonderful sunrise, comforting candles all in a row that have created reflections in that pretty window and gorgeous peonies. The quote is so true. Thank you for leaving a much appreciated message on my blog. I hope that you have a good new week. An affectionate hug from me, Linda xx

How I love peonies! They don't grow in my neck of the woods, so every year I wait for them to make their appearance at the markets. And every year I seem to miss them. :( At least I can enjoy them here. Thank you. Have a lovely week! xo
ReplyDeleteI loved this post of color, Carolyn, and what a beautiful sunrise. The candles look so cozy on the window sill. I like how all five of them are shining with a warm glow. Such a pretty sight.

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThose Peonies were lovely and very attractive for abandoning the thought of adoption...
Love candles too, and the fragrant ones, not artificial scents but meaningful ones.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette

Olá Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteAmei as velas e as flores.
Belas as imagens.
Bom final de semana.
janicce.
Thanks for showing us the beautiful color of the spring.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice sunday.
Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteyour peonies are really pretty - what a wonderful colour! Oh yes, and I also love candle-light. Although we had a beautiful and sunny autumn and this November is unusually war and sunny for Austrian conditions, it's getting dark very early now and the mornings, nights and evenings are cold, too - so candlelight is perfect for a good mood :-))
Hugs my dear and have a happy weekend!

Dear, dear Carolyn, HELLO! First of all, what a delight to be connected with the world so we can experience each other's experiences....your peonies, how I adore these flowers but we have to wait until May! What a treat indeed! Thank you so much for coming to visit my post. Blogging has had to take a back seat to my teaching but I do post photos on Instagram. Come and visit!
