She has asked us to show a gift that we made for someone ~ My gift a Teddy bear, was to my dear Mother who also shares the same birthday as Rebecca on the 18th of December.

As the year is waning, and another has miraculously zoomed by, the thing I love best about this time of the year is keeping in touch with our family and special friends.
Yesterday we drove 3 hours to celebrate my dear Mothers birthday and it was such a lovely time, being with all my family for the day.
I am sorry I have not been around much but I do look forward to coming to visit all of you.
Today the weather has been so wet and it will be good to do all the inside jobs that need doing around the house.
I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend and best wishes for the upcoming Festive season.

My darling mother died in 2000 and I still miss her terribly. She loved Christmas and always filled my tins with baking to take on the boat.
