So much is happening right now... how are you holding up during the holiday rush?
Summer is here in NZ and yesterday when I was doing the last of my Christmas shopping, driving away from the shopping center the temp. on the car had hit the giddy high of 30!
So you can imagine there were a lot of tired and stressed people walking around the streets of Auckland, all trying to buy the last of the gifts, for their loved ones. I always say that I will try and shop early but never seem to get around to it.
My thoughts are with those that have been effected by the snow, especially those that have had their travel plans disrupted. I really hope that the weather will improve so they can get home to their loved ones this Christmas.
I have finished writing the Christmas cards and now want to wish you much ~
As we come to the end of the year, I'm reminded there is so much to be grateful for.
We can visit wonderfully sweet places and friends at the click of a button.
Each day I can turn on my computer, sometimes while still in my pyjamas and know that there is something special waiting for me. Thank you dear friends for all the inspiration and love you have to share.
I hope that you are enjoying the Christmas week
Hugs
Carolyn
Carolyn, May you have a very Merry Christmas and fantastic new year!
ReplyDeleteSometimes the month of December just gets so complicated and busy that it zaps ones energy and frazzles our nerves.
I'm more relaxed today and yet have sooooo much to do.
I really would rather be full of joy and happiness.
Wishing you much peace and well being,
d
I stay away from the holiday rush. We keep it simple . . remembering the real reason for the season :)

ReplyDeleteAunty Davina was in our thoughts on Saturday as we all met in Dannevirke for a family lunch. I hope she is well.
Enjoy your holiday wherever you are. Best wishes Karen
Dear Carolyn, Wishing you and your family a 'Cool' Christmas, in more ways than one! It looks as though we may have that White Christmas we've all been 'dreaming of' here in the UK!
ReplyDeleteMay the magic of the season fill your hearts, Lynda x
Good luck getting everything done, sweetie! I know, we are all in the midst of the mad dash :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the holidays! xoxo
Hi Carolyn, isn't it funny that so many associate snow and winter with Christmas, yet we are having such mild temperatures here and everything always looks the same; and there in NZ you are in the midst of summertime.
ReplyDeleteOur Middle School Principal and his family were stuck in Amsterdam, missed their flight, on the way to France, and then they were snowed in for awhile. My son Zack was keeping up with them because their son was posting to Facebook. Surely they've made it by now but lots of folks experienced the same delays.
Wishing you much happiness this holiday season. Blessings, Tammy
Holiday rush? I'm so busy with the work at my boutique. Apparently holiday season is really good for business :) Which is a good thing. But I'm longing for my holiday. A week feels like forever :p
ReplyDeleteIs it all sunny and cheery down there in NZ, Carolyn? I read the newspaper this morning and found out that Australia's snowing... Hope you are enjoying the christmas countdown!

Well, we love you too Carolyn and are so happy that even in our jammies we can connect with you. It is funny for this American to think of Christmas being during the summer, but I guess that is how it is "down under". Hope your next few days are spectacular, spent with family and friends (and special bears, of course!) Thank you so much for being a wonderful supporter of my blog over these last couple of years. I really appreciate your kindness and friendship.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Judy
