April showers

It's grey and raining here today so just wanted to pop in and share a little colour and brightness. I looked back through my photos to find some that will add a little colour and cheer.
We are experiencing the tail end of Cyclone Debbie that hit Australia, so we have had continual rain for the past few days. It is not very nice and there have been many bad slips around some of the coastal land and lots of flooding in parts.
Do hope that people can be safe from the storm

One good thing about the rain, it will be great for the flowers and plants growing in the garden.
Happy Wednesday everyone and I hope the start of April and your week is going well.
Enjoy your weekend

March Days

Have not found the time to spend on my  blog as life seems to be busy here and a lot going on.
We have builders working on our home, putting in a new retaining wall so as I write, can hear saws buzzing, rocks sliding down a shute to back fill and with the radio playing loudly and chitchat between the builders, it is all go. My job is making cups of coffee and tea to make their job a little easier and keep them hydrated in the heat.
Come the afternoon, when they finish for the day, all goes back to peace and quiet.

We are having the most glorious weather, clear blue skies but you can feel the days are shorter and getting up in the morning now, the sky is dark.  Daylight saving starts here on Sunday so that is a signal that Autumn and winter will not be far away, so will make the most of the lovely weather

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I look forward to coming over to say hello and see what you are up to.
I hope you have a wonderful week

Out and about in Chelsea

Treat yourself to some pretty flowers.
What's behind the green door?

Maybe buy a cupcake, from Peggy Porschen's pink cake shop

As you can see by the photographs, there was a lack of blue in the sky, but we had a fun walk, looking at the shops and buildings about. Sorry about the glare from the shop windows.

Have a beautiful week

Happy November

Just want to send some flowers to you today and wish you a happy November.
I can't believe how fast the year is going!
The warmest welcome to new followers and a grateful thank you to all the kind folk that leave a comment.

Spend your favourite time of the day in a delightful way.
Nothing beats a morning latte with my daughter, out at the little village cafe.

Have a wonderful November, dear friends.
Hugs

Winter escape and some flowers for you.

Quick post this morning.
My husband and I are flying out for a little holiday to Fiji in the morning, for a week.
I am getting excited about going, to bask in the sun on a tropical Island and looking forward to a relaxing time, not doing very much except for swimming, walking, reading and eating.
The last time we were there was on our honeymoon, years ago!

My husband is really happy as there will not be any shopping and he will not have to walk along the pavements looking at Boutiques all day. ( He is usually really good about it )
I should really be packing my bag and getting some things done here.
I just wanted to say that I am going to miss visiting all your wonderful blogs and I look forward to catching up when I return.
Love these beautiful roses at a Paris Flower market, here are some for you.
