Out and about in the City

Hello dear friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

I can't believe it's already August and how fast the year is going.

I had fun the other day shooting some of the things that caught my eye and made me smile, while I was visiting the City.

Sometimes you need to step outside, get some fresh air and take in everything that is around you!
J'adore, une 2CV jaune

Have been doing some painting projects around the home, so that is what has been taking up most of my time - will share soon what I am up to.

Best wishes to everyone, for a fabulous new week.
Many thanks for visiting my blog and your kind friendship, always lovely to read the messages you leave. I look forward to coming to visit you.
hugs
Carolyn

  4. Good morning sweet Carolyn! I KNOW! August is already here and it does NOT feel like it for us; we are used to HOT weather and our summer has been delighfully cooler, with maybe two days of heat and humidity! Soon school will begin and I'll be teaching my French.

I so love your little bears on your sidebar...they make me smile in my heart. Thank you for coming to view the horses, and yes, that green frock is divine!!!!! Anita

  27. Hello Caroline, Love that little car! I am impressed with your beautiful room in lower post. I like the look of pine against white walls and floor, especially with the blue dishware. It is clean and crisp, yet cozy.

  28. Carolyn,
I think you're right....Sometimes when I go for a drive and end up downtown, I see many interesting things going on around me. It's fun to be somewhere that takes your mind away from the everyday routine. Your white camellia is beautiful.

    Have a nice day.

    Love,
    ~Sheri

  31. That window with the balloons made me smile. Sometimes I miss city living, even though I'd miss country living more if I became a city girl. When I was at uni window shopping was one of my favourite pastimes :)
