I had fun the other day shooting some of the things that caught my eye and made me smile, while I was visiting the City.
Sometimes you need to step outside, get some fresh air and take in everything that is around you!

Have been doing some painting projects around the home, so that is what has been taking up most of my time - will share soon what I am up to.

Good morning sweet Carolyn! I KNOW! August is already here and it does NOT feel like it for us; we are used to HOT weather and our summer has been delighfully cooler, with maybe two days of heat and humidity! Soon school will begin and I'll be teaching my French.

LOVE the store window with the hot air balloons! So true, my friend, that's one of the reasons I go for a walk every morning, which I need to get a move on, the day is quickly getting away from me! I hope you have a wonderful week!!!

It's so good to come and see what you have been up to Carolyn. I love your shots from the city. It's life just so busy these days? I loved seeing your beautiful new lounge done. It looks so bright and lovely. I can only imagine how much you are enjoying it. That window with the balloons made me smile. Sometimes I miss city living, even though I'd miss country living more if I became a city girl. When I was at uni window shopping was one of my favourite pastimes :)
