Red roses for the weekend
I see trees of green... red roses too, I see em bloom for me and you.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world!
~ Louis Armstrong song
Sorry I am a little late, but just want to wish all my friends in the US, a happy belated Independence day and wonderful weekend.
Today was one of those days that I had much to do, but did not really accomplish much.
Do you ever sit at your computer and visit many lovely blogs and before you know it, the time just seems to have ticked by?
Tomorrow is another day, so hopefully I will get the things on my to do list, ticked off.
Flowers are loves truest language.
~ Park Benjamin
Thank you so much for stopping by and to new followers, I appreciate your friendship.
I wish you a perfect weekend
hugs
Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWell your wishes are timely for me as we celebrate today with our best friends. They adopted us as 'Family' and so we have a big family reunion today. We pray that it will not rain on us with thunder; as it has been doing now for weeks on end. Love to get out in our gazebo or into the garden but it is way too soggy...
Hugs and happy weekend!
Mariette

ReplyDeleteI love the little girl.
Yes, I too have spent far too long at my computer catching up with virtual friends. But then, why else have a blog if not to encounter new people, new ideas?
Carolyn, I do that too. I sit down and next thing I know hubby is calling...I'm hungry, and I have not even fixed a thing to eat...LOL...

Thank you for the 4th of July wishes. We did have a nice long weekend. It is very hot here now and in the 100's predicted all week.
Wishing you a wonderful week and opportunities to accomplish what you can off your list. I have the same sort of days now and then. The day can slip away, but yes, tomorrow is another day!

Good morning sweet Carolyn!!!!!! Thank you for the well-wishes for our fourth of July! And I was so happy to see your comment on my blog as I finally opened it up this morning; it feels strange to not be "connected" on-line for days, and will resume my blogging by mid week. I fly home TODAY!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBe well sweet friend, and I will see you in a few....Anita
Those red roses are beautiful. I hope you managed to get some things ticked off you list. I too find the time flies when blogging!

Sweet Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteFlowers really are a wonderful language all their own and I so love them. Your roses are beautiful. Just imagine a bundle of flowers coming to you in cyberspace to bless your day.
It happens to me a great deal....the clock ticks away and before I know it an hour or two has passed. I need to be restricted.
Have a blessed day and thank you for the well wishes about Independence Day USA.

Oh Carolyn, I have a tear in my eye now because the song 'What a wonderful world' reminds me of my dad who left this world over 20 years ago. And the red roses are soooo beautiful. LOVED LOVED this post today. Thank you for lifting my spirits, my sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteLove,
~Sheri
Pretty roses! Oh, YES! I can totally relate to sitting behind the "screen" and time flying by...although most of the time I do my computer surfing at night. And then before you know it, it's late, late, late!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fun and productive week.
Heidi
Hi Carolyn, it seems no matter what I do lately, time just flies faster and faster and faster! My husband says the same. The weeks are just whizzing by at top speed. It can be a little unsettling for sure. Hope you have a wonderful week. Tammy
