I love to be beside the seaside
We took a walk along Oneroa beach on Sunday morning and here are a few snaps of how beautiful everything looked.
I always think, a constitutional, is one of the best ways to start the day.
The sun was shinning brightly and the sky was a pretty blue with white fluffy clouds and the sea sparkled like diamonds.
Going by the numbers of boats in the bay, this was one of the busiest weekends for a long time.
At night looking out our window, there are hundreds of lights from the boats and it is a magnificent sight, looks like a whole new town out there.
This was the cutest little Scottie dog walking along, not at all in a hurry and looked like the day was too hot from him with his black coat. He was having trouble keeping up with his owner, who was way ahead.
Many thanks to all my friends who visit here and for the comments you leave. Also a warm welcome to new followers and I look forward to visiting you.
Hope your week is off to a great start, ~ enjoy the week
hugs
Carolyn

Good evening dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteMy oh my, what a beautiful sight this is.. Look at all the boats in the bay... You are so right, just magnificent!
I always feel nervous when I see a dog so far behind.. He does look like he knows exactly where he is going.. Cute little Scottie.
Enjoy your week Carolyn. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful photos.
blessings,
Penny
I love to see all those boats on the sea...
ReplyDeleteBest regards,
Pierre
I love it when the sea sparkles like diamonds .... you've captured it beautifully Carolyn. That poor little Scottie dog must be so hot being that close to the hot bitumen .... his Mama should pick him up and carry him.
ReplyDeleteHoping you have a wonderful week. xx

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThat was a treat to go to the seaside; except for the poor black Scotty dog. Sad that the owners didn't seem to care about him following close or not...
Enjoy your mid summer and have a great Valentine week.
Hugs,
Mariette

amicalement, Leeann x
Such a pretty walk. Someday we will have warmth and flowers again!
ReplyDeleteI love being by the ocean too.... sometimes think how nice it would be to live somewhere within walking distance....but, then..... maybe it's just as nice to go there only on holiday... then it makes it really special.
ReplyDeleteAlthough,...... I think I could cheerfully move to Nazare beach in Portugal.....sigh....
You are blessed to be so near to the sea so that you can take a walk there. The bay looks sparklingly beautiful in the daytime and must be just as lovely at night.
ReplyDeleteI guess that all the boats have a mooring in the bay. What a lovely way to spend time on the water! Poor little Scottie dog! He must have been hot and tired.
I like the name of the beach path - tramping tracks!
Have a lovely week, Carolyn!
I can just picture the water at night! Such a beautiful sight. And the Scottie! Hahahahaha, too cute. xoxo

'm grateful for fantastic health, for many people that I care for that also care for me. I am grateful to be a woman living in a country where I am free to have rights, I am grateful for a safe place to live, for food to eat, for things to look forward to, for a good nights sleep and dreams, for the sunrise and sunset, for Coco our cat, for the computer, the telephone, I am grateful to have the energy and desire to exercise and do yoga. For the spirit to want to learn new things, for perseverance, for having the eyes to see, for working with little girls, for playing the guitar, for the ability to paint and cook and sew and be creative. That I own a car and a home. That I have hope and a desire to live. That I am starting to recover after my beautiful mother's death, that I learned about Anita Moorjani before my mother died, for our 10 ft. Camilla bush, that President Ombana started the health care plan because it was because of this that my hips consequently were healed. Grateful for a positive mental attitude, and So Much More!!
