A big crowd had gathered around a little outdoor cafe in the square, so I walked across to see what all the commotion was about and saw this pretty Ice Castle sculpture.
They were promoting a new brand of Vodka so lucky for the the iphone in my handbag I was able to take a few photos.
After I had been for my Dental appointment there was really not a lot to see, what had once been an Ice Castle was now a big pool of water on the paving stones.
Every time I go into the City, I enjoy looking at the window displays of Louis Vuitton ~
I am loving the spring collection, designed by Marc Jacobs. The daisy fields eyelet lace dresses in the sweetest pastel colours are so pretty.
Could you see yourself in any of these clothes?
Now all I would need, is to win the lottery so I could afford a dress.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day
Hugs
Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn, what a wonderful ice-castle - and what a pitty that it melted away: Building ice sculptures is such an ephemeral art ! To create beautiful blouses (or great photos) is an art that has a longer durability :o)
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs to you, my dear!

I am always amazed at ice sculptures. how in the world do they do that? Window shopping can be so fun and really easy on the pocket book. :)
ReplyDeleteHello Carolyn...
ReplyDeleteIt has been a few posts since my last visit.
Don't you just love the lace?? It is so feminine and lovely. The lottery would definitely change my wardrobe choices!
I loved the photos of your little vacation spot. It really looks romantic and peaceful. Songlad you were able to get away for a few days.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead...
Hugs, Nancy
The castle ice sculpture is so lovely, Carolyn. That must have been a sight. I especially love this white blouse. White is a favorite of mine in the summer.

Hi Carolyn, I love ice sculputes. It's just a shame that they are mostly made for a few hours only. Have you ever seen pictures of the ice festival in Harbin? These last longer and are so amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend :-)!
Hugs,
Julia
