An interesting partial rainbow appeared in the sky the other night |
Italian Pasta of pretty bright coloured Christmas trees, will make a nice meal |
Son thought they were lollies when he he spied the glass jar and was quite disappointed when he tried to eat one. |
Look what the Postman delivered to my mailbox the other day, beautiful gifts from two of my blog
friends, thank you so much Marsha and Saskia.
I have made such
wonderful friends, that if not for blogging I would not have the chance
to know.
The weather has warmed up here and feels like we are going to be in for a long hot summer.
I spent some time out in the garden cleaning up and already the ground is very dry and many of the plants are looking very sad.
I hope that you are having a lovely week
Hugs
Carolyn
Hi Carolyn, The view from your home is so gorgeous and the rainbow is the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteThe pasta looks lovely and I'm sure you'll whip up a fabulous sauce with the little trees.
Your blogfriends have spoiled you with such pretty gifts. Enjoy!
xoxo,
Julia
Hello Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYour plants are suffering from the heat and ours from the extreme cold for our area :(
I remember one Christmas my Aunt Nena had given my brother-in-law a bag full of what looked like banana chips. He took a handful and put them in his mouth only to find out they were garlic chips, LOL
You are so welcome, Carolyn. The internet and blogging has made our world a little bit smaller :)
((Hugs))
Marsha
Lovely rainbow...
ReplyDeleteGreetings from France,
Pierre
Oh my goodness Carolyn...the rainbow is lovely. how very interesting. I wonder why it appeared that way?

Lucky you to receive such sweet gifts! I can understand why you would receive them...you are such a dear friend to so many...
I hope it doesn't get too hot for you...the weather is cold here, although we have had a fairly mild winter so far.
Hopefully your plants won't suffer too much in the heat.
Wishing you a happy weekend!
Hugs, Nancy xo

ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to imagine the weather being hot – we are into our darkest days now, and, although not very cold, it's certainly not appealing to be outside! :)

Wow Carolyn, that's the view from your home? It's spectacular!!! Love the gorgeous rainbow. Reminds me of one I saw when I was on Vieques on vacation. I was flying on an 8 seater plane and there was a storm cloud off in the distance and then this gorgeous rainbow popped up. So magical.

I still can't seem to get over the fact that you guys down there have summer during Christmastime! :) I really wish to find pasta like that, now after seeing this photo! Yes, it does look like candy! Reminds me of the time I bit into a huge scoop of vanilla-colored butter in an ice cream cone! I was soooo disappointed! I didn't know it was butter!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty rainbow.. :)
I wish you and your family a very happy and very merry Christmas, New Year, and whole Holiday Season!

Rainbows are such a gift. I've only been lucky to have a camera handy once, at my sister's cabin in northern Michigan. Over a lake and it was a double! She has it framed on a wall there.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely weekend, Carolyn!
