Happy June

The Cow

The friendly cow all black and white,
I love with all my heart:
She gives me cream with all her might
to eat with apple-tart.

She walks among the meadow grass
And eats the meadow flowers.

I love the whimsical painting that we have hanging in our house, alongside the pig and the chicken. They always make me smile when I look at them.

    Love your pansies. They are such a pretty little flower.
    Love your picture. I always like to have a little whimsy in the house. We all need to smile every day..and your picture makes me smile!

    By the way, your husband's fish pie sounds delicious!

    Good morning my sweet Carolyn! Oh what a sweet poem, and I LOVE COWS! They make me smile when I see them....nature for that matter is calming for me. I am a city-dweller..I always have been, but to be surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature, even if it is just through a painting, give me such calm. Thank you for this lovely repose before I take off to work and start yet another stressful day. BUT NEXT WEEK IS MY LAST!!!! Happy day my friend, Anita

    Carolyn my sweet friend! Yes, I am counting down the days but it is coming TOO fast now! With report cards to do and many other things to wrap up, there are not enough hours in the work day. But I come home to enjoy the green garden, the quiet and the peace and that is good for me!     Oh I love love love cows Carolyn!!! they always make me smile....I love this poem too....you know I went through a huge cow craze when I was younger....I collected everything that was to do with cows....!!! thanks for the memories!!!

    And I adore your cow....I had a rooster done much in the same way. It's in storage now, but I loved it and it was quite old.
