Bonjour mes amis,
Today I am joining my friend Anita and others for a Party in Paris and what fun it is going to be.
Thank you Anita, for organizing this soiree.
There is something about Paris that is always inviting and to be walking around this fabulous old City made me feel happy and calm.
We may need a pair of ballet flats in our bag, with all the walking, sightseeing and shopping we will do.
Maybe take a ride high up in the sky on the ferris wheel to enjoy all the lights around the City
Go window shopping in the Chanel boutique, to see what the fashionable Ladies of Paris are wearing
Oh to be young again and be able to whirl around on the Carousel, imagine the excitement and squeals!
Must make a trip to Laduree to take home some macarons for dessert.
What flavour will you choose?
Take a spin around the City in this cute car with the roof down, would be a fun thing to do.
A bouquet of fresh, pretty flowers to take home is always a must. It was heavenly to walk past the florist and flower markets and to be able to breath in the gorgeous fragrances and beauty.
Happy birthday on the 29th to my beautiful daughter Victoria.
Thank you for the proud honour you give me, of being your Mother, best wishes always.
Hope you have a perfectly magical weekend and that it's beautiful where you are.
Thank you for your visit and to new followers, always brings a smile to my face when I see a note from you.
Hugs
Carolyn
Carolyn, I am so jealous and envious (in a good way, of course) that you are going to be hanging out in Paris. I LOVE this city!!! I remember the smells, the coffee, the style - it's all so fabulous! Enjoy this wonderful weekend...and please do have a macaroon for me.

This is a great addition to the Paris Party. Love the flower market image, I can't just walk by without stopping to inhale the lovely fragrance. Your daughter is beautiful, I'm sure like her Mother.
ReplyDeleteBon week-end,
Mimi
Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Victoria as well! Special day and you are ahead of us, so it's almost there.
Lovely post. Yeah, Paris remains always an inviting city. Last I was there we did a tour by night with all the lights, making it literally the City of Lights! We were on our way to Spain and Portugal but our stay in Paris was memorable too. Before that I've been there a few times but it's harder not from the USA with my parents still alive so you don't get to see much of the rest of Europe.
Lots of love,
Mariette
My dear friend,
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip to Paris perhaps I can meet you for as cafe au lait at Deux margots. I am loving every single minute. X
Dear Carolyn, Thank you for the trip to Paris! I can't believe that it's almost 30 years ago that I went there with a girlfriend on a bus tour. The tour had started in the middle of the night, so that we would arrive in Paris in the morning. I hope to make it to Paris again one day and then I will certainly visit Ladurée. The colorful macaroons look very pretty but I would probably go for some with chocolate flavor.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Victoria!!! I wish her all the best and hope she will have a fun day tomorrow.
Happy weekend and hugs to you,
Julia
Dear Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn, I just woke up to your sweet and most gracious comment and I am still basking in the afterglow of love. I had NO idea that this little link party would have so many people that would first of all, participate. Then to see that within their busy weekends, they all made such a HUGE effort to do what I hoped for: To visit each other and just have FUN and be creative. I am so happy and will remember this always as being a moment where I was able to be one link in a chain around the world to gather and ENJOY ourselves. THANK YOU AGAIN MY SWEET FRIEND for the beauty of your post, of your friendship and care. ENJOY THIS DAY! I am off for our Memorial Day celebration. I am staying home to write an article for La Belle Inspiration magazine!
