Pretty pink for Saturday
Thank you for visiting me last time and for the offer some of your gave, with sending over the rain you have been having.
We have still not had any and it is sweltering hot here.
As I walked past this pretty David Austin rose, it gave off the most beautiful fragrance so just had to share with you.
Mary Ruffle
I feel like one of these to keep cool and may go for a swim in the sea later.
I hope that you are having a great weekend and want to say thank you for your friendship and I look forward to coming to visit you all soon.
Hugs
Carolyn

Hi Stefani,

Too much rain in South Africa and when it isn't raining it is too hot. Enough now! My sympathies are with you Carolyn.
ReplyDeletePat xx
That was so lovely about the rose...it's the simple things isn't it.
ReplyDeleteMmmm I could go for one of those icecreams too, lucky you being near the sea.
Enjoy your Sunday,
xoxo

A friendship with you. The pleasure's all on my side, Carolyn...
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn:
ReplyDeleteI fixed the problem... This template does not jog exactly with Blogger, little bugs do pop up, but it is just figuring away round them. So I just took away the word verification, and now the comment page is working fine... selecting any other way to post made this tiny funny little box... just one of the bugs. But worth it for me to have this simple format I desire.
Thanks for drawing my attention to the problem.
have a great day!
Rosalind
Such gorgeousness dear Carolyn! You couldn't post prettier for me :-) Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteHope you having a lovely weekend, cheers: Evi
Any rain YET Carolyn??? My gosh girl, I hope ya'll are not turning into weeds soon. If only we could give you some of this rain that we've been having. We are having a cold wet winter so far.
ReplyDeleteHope you get some of the wet stuff soon~

Hi: Your rose is beautiful. It is not rose season for us. I miss them. I want to thank you for praying for me. You are a dear friend. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteThat rose is so plump and gorgeous! We had a dreary gray day here so I was happy to stay indoors. The wind has kicked up and it has gotten colder. We really haven't had a winter yet. Will be a shock to everyone if it comes now, but you just never know what tomorrow will bring. Doing a little rain dance for you. Hope you enjoyed the swim. Blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteYummy ice cream!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Hugs, Lisa

Hi Kim,
Aren't they just the best and the part that I also love is that they actually have a beautiful fragrance, which a lot of the new varieties don't have.

Hi Maryanne,
The David Austin old fashioned roses have such lush petals and plenty of them and I can see why you thought they may have been a camellia. Many thanks for your visit.
