The big and the little!
I just had to share this photo of a big cruise ship in port and a very cute little boat sailing around the harbour.
Wouldn't you like to go on a cruise around the Islands? I know I would.
Jodie, ( a blog friend ) is on a cruise at the moment and I bet she will be having a marvelous time.
I was sorry to hear from a friend, who also makes Teddy bears, that her husband passed away.
Sending much love and hugs to Christine and her dear daughter and may the memories they hold in their heart bring healing, peace and comfort.
The past week has been a busy one and I have not had much time to sit and visit my blog friends.
Many thanks for visiting me and I look forward to coming over to say hello.
Today we had friends over for lunch, so I look forward to sharing some photos with you as we had some delicious food, to eat.
Wishing you all a very happy weekend
Hugs
Carolyn

When I look outside and see our wintry weather, I think hummmmm you are having milder weather than Kansas! Hope you'll smile at the sun and take a deep breath. Lucky you!

Hi Marsha,
How wonderful that you met your husband on a cruise ~ very special.
That is one thing about owning pets, going on a holiday can be a problem.
I have missed getting around to visit you and look forward to doing it soon ~ things have been busy here.
Thank you Deanna. I am grateful for the beautiful sunny weather and got some sunburn on my arm yesterday, ouch! ... even though we were sitting under the sun umbrella.
Hi Julia,
It looks so teeny next to the huge boat, but I have seen it out sailing around on the harbour and it looks fun. Happy weekend
Thank you CC, that is very kind of you.
Hi Maryanne,
Thank you for your visit and glad that you had a trip to Fiji.
It is lovely and warm at the tropical Island.

That photo is fantastic! You tend to forget how huge cruise ships are until you see a little boat next to it!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your friend's husband. I hope she and her family are doing ok.
You sound so sweet in your post, Carolyn, and, I am touched by your feeling the pain of your friends. I am sure that we all wish for them comfort. :)

ReplyDeleteHi Charity,
Always great to have you call by, thank you for your kindness.
Thanks Mary, yes there are some people who do not like going out in boats. Even traveling on the Waiheke ferries, there are commuters, that every time it is rough go a pale greenish shade.
Thank you Miss Eve, for your visit. Glad that you could go on a cruise.
Seems to be a nice and relaxing way to take a holiday.
Many thanks Jermaine, seems to be a busy time of the year with family and one thing and another.
I look forward to coming over to visit you.
