I am honoured to receive ~ The Most Regal Blog Award from the Duchess of Rosetea Cottage.
She has a delightful blog, so do go over and visit her and meet the sweetest blogging friend and see all the beautiful things she has to share. Thank you very much.
Prince William has made his first official visit, representing his Grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The Prince proved a popular Royal envoy on his visit to NZ, meeting All Blacks Rugby players, sailing on America's cup yacht on Auckland Harbour.
William opened the new Supreme Court building in Wellington, then he placed a single rose on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.
He also visited the Wellington hospital and charmed the sick children. He brought grins and shy smiles to their faces.
He visited Kapiti Island, where he was greeted by sunshine and birdsong as well as rouge weka and takahe.
His Royal Highness Prince William apparently, got behind the barbie and flipped a few sausages as part of his Summer experience.
Australia is the next stop on his tour, down under.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Haiti ~ may they get the much needed help, food, water and hospital care. It is so sad seeing all the destruction, from this most devastating earthquake.
I hope that you are having a lovely week.

Carolyn
Oh Congratulations Carolyn on the award.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Willam has been very busy.
It's just so heartshattering what's happening at Hati.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award! You definitely deserve it! And Prince William is such a good guy... his mum would be so proud of him if she were alive.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Carolyn, on just a regal award which you richly deserve and how appropriate that Prince William came to visit **wink**
ReplyDeleteSuch devastation. It is so sad.

Marsha
What a wonderful award!
ReplyDeleteI was in tears this morning while they were showing a sweet little girl crying at the sight of any woman that came near her. Her mother is dead and she just calls for her. It's heartbreaking!
Jo
Good for you, you deserve to win that award!
ReplyDeleteThere is no words to describe the sadness of what is happening in the world today.
I think that Prince william will be good for England, the Queen should pass her crown to him.
Hugs,
Margaret B
Congrats, Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteIsn't Duchess lovely?
Have a beautiful day, my friend!

Congrats on your regalness. :) I continue to think upon and pray for all that are in Haiti suffering and all who are there to help and serve. Such an enormous task. Blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteYou deserve the award, congrats!
ReplyDeleteLove William, he reminds of his mum so much.
Prayers and thoughts are with Haiti.
Lovely week to you.
He is such a handsome fellow and he seems to be following in his mother's footsteps with his kindness toward others.
ReplyDeleteI too pray that Haiti will get the assistance she needs to get through this difficult time.
Blessings,
Kim
Thank you Duchess, for your lovely Award you gave me. You are the sweet, kind one.
ReplyDeleteIt made my day!
Many thanks Rose and I really hope that your birhtday was the happiest one ever and a great year ahead, for you, sweet friend.
Hi Haute- Shopper,
Yes, William seems to have all the lovely qualities, his Mother had.
He asked to be called Sir, instead of ~ His Royal Highness.
Many thanks Marsha, always great to have you come and visit me.
Yes, a Royal day! ... with Prince William and then getting the Regal blog award from the Duchess.
thanks Jo ~ it is such a heartbreak to see all the little orphaned children and homeless people.
I hope that more help will come quickly.
Hi Margaret,
I think Prince William would be a great choice to take over from the Queen. She really does not seem to be wanting to do this in a hurry.
Watching a documentary the other night, she is looking great for her age.
Thanks Christina, the Duchess is lovely. Have a great day.
Hi Tammy,
Such a mammoth task ~ it would be hard to know where to start, with the hospitals, buildings and roads all destroyed and the need for the infrastructure having to be rebuilt.
Thanks Slices of Beauty.
Prince William does have his Mum's good looks.
Hi Kim,
Lovely to see the Prince following in his Mothers footsteps she had such a kind and caring spirit towards others.
Prayers go out to all in Haiti.
Hugs

Many congratulations on the award...you definitely have a regal blog!
ReplyDeleteI read about Prince William- such a handsome young man. He reminds me so much of Diana.
(I have a friend who just visited NZ and adored it! You have such a lovely country.)
RE: Haiti: It is heartbreaking and I'm afraid it can only get worse as more news gets out. My heart goes out to them and donating to The Red Cross or an organization like that is the only way we can help.
Dearest Carolyn~
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you popped by for a visit! Congrats for the award dear one.
Warmly,
LuLu~*xoxo
Dear Carolyn,

xOXO LOLA:)
Hola dear Carolyn, the prince is so handsome, my god, much more like his mother Lady Di!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe foto of the big ship and tiny boat is a very lovely pick!!!
I´m so sorry for the Haiti people and all the devastation this heathquake has brought. In Chile we are very used to earthquakes, we have them all the time up north, in central part where I live and in the south but here all constructions are made to cope with earthquakes so everytime one comes there`s not many devastation, thanks god. The last one we had where I live was in March 1985, it was 7.9 richter scale and it lasts 1.45 minutes, a lot, more than others, it did was a huge and destructive one, and it was earthquaking for 2 weeks...We, chilean people know what earthquakes are and are very sorry for Haiti.
Muchos cariños, dear friend
Maria Cecilia

What a beautiful award, for such a beautiful blog! How wonderful to have a visit from the royal family. Poor William, I think it will be a very long time before he is king. That's probably okay with him I imagine. We enjoy seeing him in the media and following the royals here too.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sharon :-)
Thank you Sharon for your visit and kind words.
ReplyDeleteYes, Prince William is probably enjoying his life being a young Guy and having some freedom, at this time.
Happy week

We are all devastated by the despair we feel and see in Haiti...

Carolyn
I used to be into Prince William. But somehow he isn't as good looking as he used to be. He's turning more and more like Prince Charles.
ReplyDeletePrince Harry is my heartthrob now!
Hi Fe,
ReplyDeleteFunny that, I suppose the older he is getting, the more like his father he has become.
Hugs
Carolyn
