Thank you, my friends
Beautiful French flowers and garlic at the Market ~ Courtesy of Flickr
I just want to say a big thank you to all, for your kind comments with regards to my Father's health. It is wonderful to have so many caring and beautiful friends, from all around the world.
It was lovely to see all my Family, especially being able to spend some time with my dear Dad and Mum. We are hoping that Dad's health, with the help of medication can be better.
Last week I had a routine mammogram check and I had just arrived down in Tauranga and got a call on my cell phone, saying that I would need to go back for a further scan next Wednesday, so that was scary. But probably better to get it sorted.
I was also speaking to a Girl in the Fruit and Vegetable shop and she said she also needed a further appointment.
I am off to visit your blogs now, as I have missed you all, while I was away and I am sure I will have a lot of catching up to do.
I hope that your week is going well
Hugs
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, I hope that the medication will help your father. Isn't it wonderful to know that there is so much help medically to help us in our lives? My husband is diabetic, but is able to live an active life because of good medical care.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your follow up appointment, I'll be praying for you.

ReplyDeleteCarolyn, try not to worry. I had that call two years ago. They did an ultrasound and then I had to go in for a needle biospy. Thankfully it all turned out well. Thinking of you. If you need to chat, feel free to email me. Hugs, Marsha

Hi Marsha,
I am trying not to worry, as the same thing happened to me and I had a biospy and it came back fine, so I am wondering if it is scar tissue or something like that.

Hi Teresa,
My Dad is out of hospital and thrilled to be home. To be able to have a good nights sleep in his own bed and not have all the disturbance of others in the ward will be a good thing.

I'm glad to catch up on your news a little this afternoon. I hope everything works out...things seem to happen all at once so I'm hoping the next few days will be better. I'm still getting things in order after the move.
ReplyDeleteDo not be afraid of the mammogram.
ReplyDeleteMost times they see things that are cysts and lumps that mean nothing.
Be in charge of yourself and do not fall into the trap of being afraid.
Go sooner than later so that your mind can be at rest.
Love Renee xoxo
thank you for visiting Diane and good luck with getting settled into your new home.
ReplyDeleteAll takes a lot of time and energy, but things will soon sort out and the boxes will be open, sorted and put away.

ALSO, statistics are HIGH for how many women go back for followup mamos' and biopsies. I think 90~something % of the tests come back benign.
