Little window therapy!
Do you ever feel like a little window therapy?
The other day, my daugher and I were in the City for lunch and some shopping.
Buying the things I needed and those that I didn't.
We went to my favourite shop "Passion for Paper" and I bought this lovely set of stamps and then some beautiful stationery ~ a little gold embossed bee and honeycomb print on the envelopes. The little bar of Pomegranate soap, from Italy smelled so beautiful and reminded me of soap my dear old Grandmother used to have in her bathroom, so I had to buy the soap. I had not taken the price tag off and my husband was amazed at the cost.
Anyway that will be the end of my shopping sprees, for a while.
I hope that you have an enjoyable weekend ~ it has turned really cold and wet here today.
Hugs
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn~
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day to spend with your daughter! What lovely finds...I LOVE your story about your Grandmother, very sweet. My Grandma had pear soap which I am always on the hunt for.
Thank you for the memories, may you have a nice weekend!

Hi Miss Kris,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting and
that I was able to tell you about my latest purchases.
I love that your Grandma had pear soap and I hope that you manage to find some.
It is so lovely that a fragrance from a soap can bring back such happy and wonderful memories.

Hi Carolyn. I love Crane paper. I used to order custom engraved notepaper with matching envelopes in pale blue. Came in a beautiful red box which I still keep. Makes writing a pleasure. Believe it or not I still have a few sheets in that box but I no longer live at that address so don't use anymore....Your treasures are beautiful choices here....love any thing Paris!
ReplyDeletethat wasn't window therapy at all...you guys actually went inside...and bought stuff! More fun yet!
ReplyDeletelove the sweet little golden bee....
I bought some hand cream from Crabtree and Evelyn today.... and Gardener's hand therapy exfoliation cream too... mmmmmm...love the scents in that "shoppe"...I like to spell it that way as it seems so much more than the other stores surrounding it...
Oh good heavens, you would never get me to leave that store! All those things would definitely make me happy. Nothing like a little retail therapy to bring a lilt to your step. And you can tell you husband that it's still cheaper than a real therapist. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lovely day with your daughter - a fun way to spend a day. Love those stamps, they are great. Look forward to seeing what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend Carolyn - stay warm!
Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice thing to spend time with your daughter and go shopping. Love all your items. It's so nice you were able to find the soap that reminded you of your grandmother, memories are priceless! Have a beautiful Mother's Day weekend.
