Teddy Bears, Paper Dolls and Un Carrousel
Teddy Bears, Paper Dolls and dress up clothes.
How the time went by so fast!
When our daughter went to Paris, I was excited when she bought me back this beautiful Maquette un Carrousel en 1900 and a collectors Dress up Doll.
I spent the afternoon assembling the little model carrousel. I think it looks so lovely and a reminder of years gone by.
My 100th post is coming up very soon, so I am going to be having a Giveaway.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me please, for some reason my Profile Stats. counter seems to be stuck on 1520 - do you know how to keep it going?
Thanks.
I hope that you are having a great weekend.
Hugs
Carolyn

I love the little tea set....
ReplyDeleteSure wish I still had the one I had as a kid...it is long gone...darn it.
Oh I do love your beautiful bears Carolyn. Who is the beautiful lady bear with the fur stole. She is gorgeous. Paper dolls, what a memory. but they are all in vogue again. Olivia has a cut out doll book and we've had so much fun playing with them. Memories .. it's 6 months since dear old Dad passed away.. and yet it still seems like yesterday! Luv Karen
ReplyDeleteHi Vee,
ReplyDeleteYes, I don't know what happened to our wee tea set, when we were kids.
I saw this antique set from Dolls and Lace and it was a birthday present for myself.
Karen is it really 6 months since your dear old Dad passed away.
Don't the days slip by so quickly.
Thanks so much for visiting

Oh my! Look at those adorable bears! They are coming for a tea party. Each one has such personality. And the carousel is a wonder. I love carousels! They always remind me of Mary Poppins. That is a gorgeous paper doll, too. Her little apron with birds looks 3D, even! Such lovely treasures.
