Bushfires and koalas
There are no words to describe such an horrific tragedy that has happened with the bush fires in Australia
My heart goes out to all the those that have lost loved ones, homes, their pets and all their lifelong dreams.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you as you rebuild your lives and move forward.
It just made me stop to think that we need to be grateful for our life and appreciate everything and everyone.
I have loved seeing the photos of the cute koala bears, this one is such a cutie.
Hugs
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn~ I hate when such sad things happen to people and animals. I love the beautiful picture of the koala bear. My kitty Annika reminds me of a koala bear. I enjoy your visits. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful. ~Mandy

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteMy heart, thoughts and prayers have been going out to the people of Australia who have been so tragically affected by the fires and in the other area of Australia the flooding.
It does indeed call for reflection and allows me to count my blessings. :)

Tragedy does have a way of making us refocus. Thank you for reminding me. The thoughts and prayers of kind people like you go a long way. I will be praying for those that need comfort, as well. <3

Such destruction and incredible loss. My heart weeps every time I see that number count jump. Bless all the tireless and brave firefighters and those who are giving to those who have nothing.
ReplyDeleteAnd every now and then, I will catch a story about a rescued koala and it will bring a much needed smile. I cannot begin to think about all the wildlife that perished.
Oh, such a sweet picture...My heart goes out to all of those whose lives have been turned upside down with all of these fires.(And the flooding in the other parts of Australia). They haven't had a great summer. Here's hoping things do turn around for the positive in the days and weeks to come.
ReplyDeleteWe are so fortunate here...you are right Carolyn...we need to appreciate what we have and the people we love and care about.
Hugs, Nancy
Hi Carolyn, What a sweeite. I agree, the koala's are so cute. It is so sad to think of how many animals have suffered as well. The sweet little koala named Sam has certainly captured the world's attention. The one rescued by the fire fighter and given 3 bottles of water. She is such a sweetie! I think we all need some good news stories.
