I wanted to write in my blog about Coco Chanel - I was sent this beautiful picture advertising the Chanel 2008 -2009 collection, so I would like to share it with you.
Gabrielle was so elegant and going from Rags to Riches, she had style and class.
I invented my life by taking for granted that everything I did not like would have an opposite, which I would like.
~ quote from Coco Chanel.
Coco Chanel was an inspiration for us all. Any woman who rolls her eyes at this needs to thank Coco for the fact that it is because of HER that we are all wearing pants today and out of those horrible corsets, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures...very chic! I love Channel...my hubby bought one of their newer fragrances a while back...it smells divine!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
Hugs, Nancy
I just love Chanel perfumes - I have No 5, Mademoiselle and Coco.
ReplyDeleteThe fragrances are divine and makes you feel so good when wearing them.
Enjoy your weekend.
Hugs

Lovely images and a beautiful lady.
ReplyDeleteI still have to hide my perfume from my kids. They are worse now than when they were really little. . . My son especially! He likes to just spray the air . . . so he can smell the fragrance everywhere. This can become too much very quickly. Once the bottles are hidden I tend to forget about them.
Thank you for reminding me!
Have a great weekend, Karen.
I recognized Coco right away....such a stylish pose....What a lady!
ReplyDeleteI love Chanel number 5, or as I like to call it, "numero cinq" (how'd you like my French?).
I am lucky to work near a department store that always has testers of this parfum on the counter....so I go over regularly for a spritz. Just this week they introduced a 'light' version of Chanel #5, and it is displayed beautifully, on a little platform lit from underneath, it lights up the whole bottle....
