Hello dear friends,
White roses are always so very pretty and a joy to have around the home. One of the nice things I like about winter, is my camellia bushes are in bud so I was happy to go out and pick the first bloom for the season.
I was telling you about the beautiful monogrammed sheet I bought in France and it makes a lovely tablecloth for a table.
The drawn thread work and the embroidered monogram are really exquisite and someone has spent a lot of time working on this.
I would just like to say thank you to my last post - sorry to confuse you but our 25th wedding anniversary was actually back in 2011, when we were there in France.
Looking back through my photos the other day I saw, the lovely 'Rose Cottage' and as I had never shown these, thought I would share with you. Especially if you are planning a trip away and want somewhere to stay just outside of Paris.
We are very happy to have DD come home for the weekend. We have gone for a long walk and ate tuna salad for lunch on the deck. Tonight she has kindly said she will cook dinner for us, so how lucky to have her do this.
