In my garden today.

My love for purple continues .....
What a cascade of loveliness ~ my wisteria drooping racemes of pretty mauve flowers

Pretty purple and white petunias for the window boxes
Hello my friends.... I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

The weather was not perfect for taking photos as you can see by the shadows that were about, but I wanted to get outdoors to share a few snaps with you today.
It is such a nice time of the year here, and a great time to get out in the garden.

Happy Monday

Out in the garden

Victoria magazine
KML & Design

Today the weather could not have been more different from yesterday.
It is raining and I am very happy for the rain, we are having as it will help my new plants grow well.

Yesterday, we took a visit to the Garden Center... now for a while this has been disappointing and I have not being inspired by the stock, which seems to be in short supply.
It has been taken over by a new Manager, ( for my NZ friends, he was on Maggies Garden show) and walking around the new look Garden shop, I was so happy.
There are a wonderful selection of plants, topiaries and feel really inspired to get back out in the garden.
We bought some lavenders, to replace some that were old and woody, petunias for the window boxes and some fresh herbs, to plant. My DH has the herb garden which he tends to.
I really love cooking with herbs and there is nothing like walking outside the door and picking a bouquet of fresh herbs from the garden.

I was hoping to take some photos of the garden, but the rain prevented me doing this, so I shared some pictures from my Victoria magazine.

I want to thank you very much for your sweet comments you leave for me, you are so kind.
Look forward to coming to say hello to you.
Hope that you are enjoying your weekend

A Garden

Plant a seed of friendship ~ Reap a bouquet of happiness.

The greatest gift of a garden is that it restores the five senses. ~ Hanna Rion
Wouldn't it be lovely to have a garden like this ~ I love the fountain, surrounded with the old bricks.
Fresh herbs would proudly make a statement in this wonderful herb garden.
Beautiful gardens from House Beautiful.

I hope that you are having a great week
