Every year it is fun to go and look at the window displays of our big department store, in Auckland ~ Smith & Caughey. This year, it is the Tale of Cinderella and I would like to share my photographs I took.
Apologies for the window glare. With the little dolls moving around and music to go with it, makes for a magical show and takes you back to childhood days, when this story was read to me.
What is it about the fairy tale Cinderella, that is so appealing and children beg their parents to read or tell the story just one more time?I still love the story of a young woman living with her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, in unfortunate circumstances that are suddenly changed to remarkable fortune. The outcome where the magical transformation, missing slipper and a hunt by a King for the owner of the slipper.
Wishing all those that are celebrating Thanksgiving, hope that you are having a happy time.
