It's the weekend!

Hello dear friends,

I hope you are having a great weekend.
We were happy to have our DD home for the weekend and it is always lovely when we can spend family time together, chat and get to go out on long walks in the fresh air.

Things have been a little quiet here on the blog front of late, as I always find when the weather is sunny and fine, it doesn't allow much time to sit down in front of the computer.
Lately we have been enjoying the late summer days, after the temperamental Kiwi summer that was.
Autumn days are approaching and I am actually loving the cooler morning and evening temperatures with clear blue skies.
Yesterday we tried going for a swim at the beach, but because the wind was blowing seemed to whip up the sand and was not pleasant, so did not stay there very long.
The feature wall in the lounge has been done, Dear husband finished this the other day and we are happy to finally have it up. The Napoleon Bee paper was from the Design Studio, Timorous Beasties - the company was founded in Glasgow in 1990.

Do hope that you are enjoying your weekend and have had some time relaxing and doing what makes you happy
Wishing you a happy new week ahead
