Something old, something new

Something borrowed, something blue.
Nicole ( the bride) and Victoria (our daughter) next to her and Genieve at the right

Here are a few snapshots from the wedding we attended last Saturday.
From the beginning to the end, we were happy to be able to share  the wonderful  wedding day of Nicole and James, and see them celebrating their love for each other.
We wish the happy couple all the very best for a wonderful life together.

One thing that can't be controlled was the weather - started off in the morning with a shower of rain and the afternoon was a scorcher with high humidity ... in the Church the only way to keep cool was to  fan ourselves with the program and to keep the air moving around.

What is it about weddings? the hanky had to come out to wipe away the tears.

The wedding season is in full swing here on the Island - it is a popular place for couples to get married with many beautiful beaches which make for a great place to take the photographs.
I loved the dear old 1928 Packard car that carried the couple around and the three bridesmaids rode in the back of  a 1968 Cadillac convertible.
Happy weekend, dear friends
Carolyn
