July 14th, France celebrates Bastille Day ~ to my friends there ... enjoy the festivities, parades and firework displays.
Always lovely to look over holiday snaps and any excuse to show a few photos we took while in France.
At St Emillion, we bought macarons from this little shop |
Sacre Coeur ~ Montmartre |
Le Moulin el Gallette |
Shopping up at Montmartre was fun, walking along the old cobblestone streets. |
La Cremaillere was such a lovely Restaurant, in fact we enjoyed our evening and meal, that we dined out here a second time.
Amazing, that this has been operating since the 1900.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
Hugs
Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteGreat post with lovely pictures. Fond memories. For me it is very special as I did have a relative who fought in the French Revolution (which started on Bastille Day)... and our country was under France at that time. I call it 'My French Connection' and you can read about that through the link under today's post.
Happy weekend! My nephew is flying back home from New Zealand now... His 6 months as an interim student are over now.
