Here are some more snaps from our holiday
Because of the time difference, back in NZ we are ahead by two hours, so to rise and shine early before the sun came up, was easy. Your inbuilt clock just seems to automatically tell you that it is time to get up.
Where you awaken every day and pull back the curtains to the magic of the sunrise and this was the view we were greeted with.
Something very special seeing the waves crashing on the beach and we could see some early bird surfers, catching a few waves to start the day.

Now to see some photos taken out the window from the apartment on the last day we were there.
Soul is the newest high rise luxury apartment on the skyline, with apartments available for sale and to rent and a shopping complex at ground level. A crane was still operating but looks like it won't be long before completion.
The Ferris wheel and looking back up the river
While out driving we came across the Palazzo Versace and I felt like the paparrazzi as I took a few sneaky photos.
A very impressive line up, of five shiny new Maserati's in the forecourt
Hope that you are having a wonderful week
Hugs
Carolyn xx

How wonderful and so lovely that you were up early enough to see the sunrise. That happened to me in Hawaii and it was spectacular!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Carolyn! xoxo
lovely! I drove into the city (Chicago) with the kids one summer day and we pasted a hotel with a small motor court filled with those cars and others... people spilling out for their weekend. My son doug schooled me on the names of the cars and since it was a side street, we had time to enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI still like the simple, MG

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWow, you certainly had a room in a high rise building with such spectacular view! Good for you that you enjoyed your trip. Guess I'm on the mend and with a few more days of medication I will be free from those side affects.
Have a great Pentecost weekend.
Love,
Mariette
That must have been a spectacular view from your window.
ReplyDeleteFirst time here and enjoyed going through your posts.
Gorgeous views you had. I was imagining what it would be like to live in that new highrise with views like that. I bet it is very expensive.
