If you have ever dreamed of living like Audrey Hepburn, here's your chance |
Looks like she is preparing to move out with all her boxes packed |
Fans of the classic movie, with Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's will have the chance to live in the style of Holly Golightly as the Townhouse, that the movie was filmed outside, has gone up for sale. Most of the filming of the inside of the apartment though, was shot inside a film studio.
The New York brownstone building has gone on the market for almost 6 million.
Pick
the day. Enjoy it to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they
come. The past, I think has helped me to appreciate the present... and
I don't want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.
~ Audrey Hepburn
Just want to say thank you so much for your kind words, feeling a little better and on the mend I hope.
Hugs
Carolyn
I saw that a couple of weeks ago! Wouldn't that be so fab, to be able to say you own Holly Holightly's townhouse. I couldn't even afford a doorknob, LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful weekend and that you are feeling better!!!
Love and hugs,
Marsha
Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you're feeling better now. I must say, that's a new one [gland] to me. I had a weird virus in my eyes for a couple of weeks, but I'm all better, too. And now my husband has what we believe is a spider bite on his knee, which is swollen all out of proportion. Lots of strange maladies going around the world, I guess!
Thank you for your visit, dear, and your kind words. I know you do love those posts about France!
As for Audrey's brownstone, it's very nice, but just imagine the château we could buy for 6 mille!!!
Be well, ma belle!

Oh I can dream can't I? Just to sleep on the steps would be worth a million.
ReplyDeletehugs from me...

Love this movie,
ReplyDeleteOh don't you just love that film and Audrey Hepburn! how cool would it be to live there.
ReplyDeleteWOW. I just remember on my last trip to New York, as we were considering Columbia University as an option for Ruben's Ph.D, that I LOVED NYC but I could never live there. HECTIC, FABULOUS and exciting as it may be, THERE IS NO WAY TO LIVE SOMEWHERE decent and be able to afford it!!!!! What a gorgeous place, but you have GOT to be so well off to even live in a normal house!
ReplyDeleteSO GLAD YOU ARE ON THE MEND MY FRIEND! Anita
Ciao carissima!
ReplyDeleteChe bello quel film!
Sono stata nel mese di dicembre a NY e come sempre staziono incantata davanti al negozio di Tiffany, i gioielli sono bellissimi, ma il ricordo del film lo è ancor di più!
Baci di cuore e con il cuore! Kisssssssss... NI ;o)
