Daydreaming of Paris



Does anyone want to come away with me?
I am dreaming of Paris today


If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast. ~ Ernest Hemingway

I want to thank you all for visiting and your kind words.
After lots of rest I am glad to say that I am feeling much better now.

    Hemingway's quote that you share is really a good one and has me thinking about the city I grew up in, San Francisco. I feel the same sentiment as Ernest feels about Paris. There are certain magical places like Paris, that come to mind: New Orleans, New York San Francisco....all infused with a special magic and charm.

    I am so glad to hear it Carolyn. Continue to get better sweet friend.
    I love the quote by Hemingway. Did you know he is buried not far from me. He's in the same cemetery my grandfather is in as well as his son Jack and granddaughter. I visit them every time I go to visit my grandfather's grave. I just find it interesting that he chose his favorite fishing area to be his final resting spot.

    Hello Carolyn~ It's always nice stopping by for a visit. A venture to Paris would be the perfect respite, including a stroll for a confection from Laurdee.

    Happy to see your feelin' better too. I've no doubt daydreaming of Paris is sure to cure what ails you.

    I hope you can stop by to see the Valentine surprises I've got in store. This week starting with...Pain au Chocolat. I'll put the kettle on for a nice cup of tea.

    I've been thinking of Paris lately too and would love to run away there for a while. I don't even care that it's winter!
