Leaving London

It was sad to leave the apartment we had made home, while we were staying in London.
The next photos were taken from the window of the London taxi cab, on the way to the train station.

Opened in 1908, the 5 star Waldorf Hotel, has become a renowned landmark of hospitality in London.
Men in Red! I wonder what they were up to?

Wishing you a great day ~ almost the weekend!

  8. The men in red were our Chelsea Pensioners. They are all ex servicemen who now live together at the barracks in the Royal Hospital, Chelsea. You may spot them often in London.
So glad you enjoyed your visit.

  15. Wonderful pictures - and the building you stayed in - how wonderful. It makes me want to hop across the pond to England instead of France! Sigh - someday I will get there...
Hope you had a safe journey home; it will be no time before you settle back into the normal rhythm of your days. Welcome home!
