Looking up at the clock in the underground station, I felt like I could have been one of the school children, waiting for the train in a Harry Potter movie.
Everything is so grand and old.
You must buy an Oyster card, when travelling on the underground and it is a quick, easy and a cheap way to get around London.
Being Francophiles, we got tickets to the France show and had a great time visiting this Exhibition, held at Earls Court, in London. Along with other English people we queued up on the Friday and waited for the doors to open.
Notice Le Gendarmes standing at the door too.
You could discover your dream French property, from a little mill house to a magnificent Chateau, hand selected French food from les saucisses et le fromage, crisp apples, wine tasting, craft stalls, fashion, to lavender from Provence.
It was a superb day out and if you get the chance to do this, it is well worth it.
Le Fromage, these had a smell all of their own and if you are a blue lover like my DH, you would be one happy person.
Happy March, dear friends
Hugs
Carolyn

Love that clock! Travel in Europe must be so neat, you have so many options and trains seem to be very commonplace. What an adventure! Think I'll pass on taking a whiff of the cheese though!

How exciting. You are right that train station does remind you of the scene from Harry Potter. Was it Victoria Station? Oh, I love London and to think you were in France too. Are the Daffodils in bloom there? I went this time of year several years ago. The France show sounds amazing.
