Je vais en voyage!

My sweet husband surprised me with tickets for two to here... we are spending four days in London, staying in an apartment in Chelsea. We are going to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary while we are away, so this is such an amazing gift and I am so excited.

Dior ~ Paris, 1940

We will be catching the Euro-star to Paris where we will stay for a few days, then traveling by train to Bordeaux, hiring a car to see Champagne and the Loire Valley.
It will be strange driving left hand drive cars, on the opposite side of the road, may take a little time getting used to this notion.
I am looking forward to strolling around the Brocantes and exploring more of the wonderful Country.



I will miss you all and I'm sorry I will not be posting or commenting while I am away.
I look forward to seeing you when I return and will try and pick up some little treasures to have a giveaway when I get back.

    CAROYLN!!! YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A BLAST! Oh dearest, take LOTS of photos for us! When I was in Paris about 9 years ago, we were celebrating our 20th. We took so many pictures, but to my chagrin, the digital card for the camera was not compatible with the computer, so when we got home, all of our pictures were never retrievable!!!! But I did get fab shots of Provence and Italy. Oh, you will be missed! Anita

The temperatures got warmer and the snow is gone, so at least the roads are clear and you don't have to concentrate on icy roads additionally to driving on the "wrong" side of the street.
