Our Sunday lunch and some pretty pink gerberas

A vase of pretty pink gerberas, made me smile :)

My daughter made these cupcakes for her little tea party lunch. Interesting coloured icing!
I do like the houndstooth paper patty cups, she bought.
There is nothing like enjoying a leisurely lunch and on Sunday my husband and I went to Goldwaters Vineyard. We choose the platter for two, that had some delicious food.
Smoked chicken, pork belly, sausage, roast kumara (sweet potato) rissotto cake, bread, cheese, coleslaw, and lettuce.
For dessert we had some little chocolate and cherry fondant tarts, with grilled pineapple.
We had finished the meal and then I thought I should have taken a photo of the food, so sorry.
As it is Autumn over in NZ the leaves were turning the most beautiful yellow, orange, brown and red colours. After the leaves fall, the vines go dorment until the Spring.
The blue sky was wonderful

It was lovely to walk home ( about a half/ hour ) and we really felt we needed to do this after all the food, we had eaten.

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice for your soul is alive.

I hope that you are having a fabulous week
