My favourite tea cup and Happy 101 Award.

This is my favourite tea cup.

There is a wonderful giveaway at http://belle-blanc.blogspot.com

All she asks is that you post a picture of your favourite tea cup and then leave a comment on her blog. (which is beautiful, so go and take a visit )

hauteworld.blogspot.com has handed me the Happy 101 Award, which comes with a tag.
Many thanks for this award. Go and visit Haute-world and see all the wonderful Fashion she has to share.

The tag requires me to make a list of 10 things that make me happy, so here I go.

My husband and children and family life are very important to me and make me happy and proud.

Lily of the valley and hyacinths, always make me feel happy

House & Garden
Soaking in a warm bath, and relaxing with some soothing music and a candle flickering.
Victoria Magazine
To slip into a beautiful freshly laundered sheets, with a glossy magazine.

My Mac computer and my i phone, I love and could not do without.

Walking along the beach barefoot, in the sand and listening to the waves coming in.

I love sitting around the table enjoying good food with family and friends.

Always being busy, like making a bear, or doing something around the home, makes me happy.

Traveling to new and exciting places.

Visiting all my blog friends makes me happy, thank you for your friendship and inspiration.

Now I have to pass this award on and I have looked at most of my blog friends and they either have this award or a blog free.
This time I am going to pass it on to everyone who is reading this, as you all deserve this, so please play along if you would like to.

  3. Your teacup is lovely. I have my mother's collection tucked away. I just don't know how to display them all. Their beauty is being wasted wrapped and packed in storage.

Enjoy the new month and all it has to offer.

  4. Carolyn, that is one (or two) beautiful teacups! Love the shade of blue. I haven't seen the others but that looks like a winner to me. I too love to read Victoria magazine - it's so pretty. And you probably know I share your love for the iPhone. I read a survey tonight where 75% of iPhone owners go to bed with it - I laughed so hard because I do that every night!

  6. Hi Jo,

I sometimes think some of the China is so beautiful and needs to be displayed.
I have some of mine on a Hutch dresser, but when I go to use them, they always need a good wash before.

    Hi Sharon,

Yes, it is a pretty antique cup, saucer and plate, that I was given by a lovely friend, for an engagement present. I used to babysit their two sweet daughters.
