24 years ago today, 25th January, on a wet and windy day, my husband and I were married.It was not the wedding held outdoors amongst a beautiful rose garden that we had planned, but we had to make the dash through the rain puddles, sheltered under an umbrella to an indoor wedding.
We were told that it was good luck to have a wet day, so we can be thankful for the blessed life we are able to share together.
