Country Living.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
We had a lovely time ~ had dinner with our friends in the City and stayed the night at their home.
The only problem was the weekend was over much too soon.
I am honoured to accept the Kreativ blogger Award from my dear friend Rose at
my-bella-rosa.blogspot.com
Be sure to go and visit her wonderful blog. Thank you Rose.
Now I have to tell you seven things about myself.
I met my husband when I was out washing my car and he came out to escape his flat mate, having an argument with his girlfriend. He lived two doors down the road.
I was renting a cute old two storied cottage built in 1907, in the lovely old suburb called St. Mary's Bay. We have been together since and have been married for 23 years.
When I go out I like getting dressed up and I love to wear a dress or skirt. Around home I like to be comfortable and ofter slouch around wearing a pair of track pants or shorts.
I was the girl with the whole grain wheat bread sandwiches, when everyone else had white bread. I used to wish that I could be like my friends, but now I know, that it is much better for my health and that is the only type of bread I eat now.
Like Rose, I lost my Dad this year and it is very hard and not a day goes by when I do not think about him. I love and miss him. We used to email each other, every day and was always great to get this correspondence.
We do not have any pets. It was such a heartbreak when our dog and cat both passed away last year, within about a month of each other.
I am happiest when I am creating or making something and one day I would love to have a studio where I can shut the door and not have everything all over the dinning table.
Sorry family, for all the mess I make about the house.
I love the weekends ~ to be able to have a leisurely breakfast and do some reading and relaxing.
Now I have to pass this award on, to the following blogs that I love to visit. This is the part the I really do not like because all your blogs are fabulous and you all should have this Award.
Some of you have Award free blogs, so if you are one of these please just know that I love to visit you.

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a good time with your fiends. That you all made time for one another. It is good to have a friend who's hand you can hold while going though the journey of loosing a parent. It is the hardest thing, but with friends, somehow we miraculously move on into a new life.
