I love this beautiful guest cottage in Maine, that belongs to Martha Stewart.
It looks so warm and inviting.
The perfect place to cosy up for the weekend.
I love the blush coloured tones that go so well together with the grey.
Have a lovely lovely weekend

While I am not all that keen on pink, these photos make the colour quite lovely. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi Dolores,
ReplyDeleteI remember the pink and grey from the 80's when everyone painted there rooms in this colour combination.
I never really liked it because it seemed a little passe.
I do think that this here is pretty
though.

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! In my house previous to this one I had painted all the walls a very pale, pale pink and the carpet was a light grey berber in all the rooms except the master which was a PINK berber!! Yep, I truly LOVE pink!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Marsha
Hi Eliza,
ReplyDeleteI like the very pale pink and dusky pink also. They are both such pretty soft colours.
Hi Marsha, the Princess of pink!
Your house would have been lovely.
When our daughter was a baby I painted her room what was meant to be a pale pink, on the colour chart.
It turned out to be a darker pink and not really what I was wanting, so had to do it again.

Carolyn, how pretty...I loved the softest pink bedroom the best, the room looked very soothing...not to mention the gorgeous bed, but the thing that I loved the most was the gorgoues venetian mirror with the pink flowers...oh how I would love that :) Thank you for your sweet note, I think I caught that flu, the worst part is the sore bones..but I am getting better. Take care :) Rose
ReplyDeleteHi Rose,
ReplyDeleteThe Venetian mirror is pretty and I loved the little bathroom which is so soft and lovely and the roses in the first photo.
Sorry to hear that you have the flu, my friend. I had that a few weeks ago and it was nasty.
I felt like I had been hit by a bus too, ached all over.
I think that the best thing you can do is go and get some rest. Often easier said than done, I know for me that was the case.
I hope that you are feeling better soon Rose.

I really like the soft pink livingroom...
ReplyDeleteI think I could live with this in my own home.
May you have a sweet week-end,
d
Beautiful!!! I love the soft hues of pink! We don't have any rooms in pink so I have to enjoy the pink rooms in other homes:). Martha's rooms are especially pretty.

Hi Celestina Marie,

You are very talented and love seeing what you are doing.
I am knitting a jersey for my daughters Menswear collection due in about three weeks and lucky for me it is thick wool and on big needles. So I need to get back to it soon.
