They are back!

They like Waiheke Island so much, they are back.
I told you a while ago in a post, about my Husband being in a shop and next to him was a Lady being served at the counter.
Hearing her speak, he thought to himself, I know that voice and turned towards her and realized it was Dawn French.

The newspaper quoted ~ Dawn French saying ... "Try wineries such as Stonyridge Vineyard, where you can eat, drink the excellent local wines and have the most relaxing time," she said sounding less a tourist and more like a fully fledged Islander.

Our Son works at Stonyridge Vineyard Restaurant on a Sunday and has worked in the holidays out in the vineyard as a leaf plucker and pruning.

So it is a small world who you see on our small Island.

I hope that you are having a happy week
Hugs
Carolyn

  3. Hi Carolyn,
First I like to say, my thoughts and prayers are with you father for better days ahead.

Your island has to be gorgeous. I love anything you post about it and pictures you share. So nice that Dawn French is back.

Loved your last post too and the gorgeous pics. So much inspiration here my friend.

Thank you for the kind comments for my son's birthday and our anniversary. You are so very kind.
Hope you have a great week and see you again soon.
If you travel to your father, be safe.
    hugs, Celestina Marie

  4. I'd love to visit the vineyards. It's one thing I really miss about being in Europe, the vineyards. There is a wonderful feeling when you are strolling between the rows of grape vines, with plump, juicy grapes hanging from the vines - they seem to want to tell you a story.

It's so much fun when a celebrity appears. I always say they are just like me, only a different career - but I find myself star-struck when I am in their presence.

    xoxo

  6. Thank you so much Sixpence and a blue moon, for visiting.

There is something fun walking between the vines, and the sweet smell of the grapes and normally sunny skies overhead.

The thing about a celebrity as you say they are just like you and me, but is fun spotting them all the same.
