I had a lovely morning, enjoying reading my Victoria magazine and would like to share
these two romantic rooms with you. I adore the all white palette.
The dinning room is beautiful with the chandelier, over the dinning table.
I love how the plain white curtains have been embellished with antique petticoats, for something different.
My Father is back in hospital and seems to have developed bronchitis, so looks like I may be making the trip down there to see him again.
I hope that you are having a happy weekend.

These rooms are so serene and beautiful. I love the feel they give you when you look at them. Sorry to hear about your Dad, I hope he heals quickly. Blessings and hugs.

Carolyn
Those are DEFINITELY romantic rooms... PRETTY!
ReplyDeleteBon week-end!
Fifi
Those are all so lovely photos, Carolyn.
ReplyDeleteWhite is beautifully used in interiors when it is soft. Softened by lace and embellishments like these that you have here.
On the other hand, when white is used very plainly and flatly, you end up with a very "clinical" looking interior.
It's amazing what a little bit of lace and romance can do! :)
I wish you and your father and the rest of your family all that's well for you.

I do love the top picture, love chandeliers, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your dad, I hope he recovers quickly.

Thanks Fifi and a happy weekend to you.
ReplyDeleteHi Charity,
Yes, lace and pretty fabrics always make the white look so much better.
thanks DJ
I love the light that chandeliers give off, has a magical and romantic look.

Carolyn, You have been here with me every step of the way while dealing with my Father.
ReplyDeleteI feel for you too in your time of need. Taking care of our parents is top priority and I know how stressful the worrying can be. Know that I am thinking of and praying for you and your family.
I think that prayers are the best gift one can give of each other.

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that chandelier.xoxoxo I "heart" you, oh, beautiful white chandelier! I love the white palette too. Someday I'll have an all white room. My house walls were a yucky putty off white for so long that when I finally painted, I went for color. Hence my yellow, green, and chocolate walls (the red bathroom just didn't work out ;-) ). I hope you recovers very soon.
Hugs,
Sharon
