Often when out walking you see so much more than driving in the car.
I took a few photos that I would like to share with you.
The sea photos are taken on our beautiful Island looking out over Palm Beach.
The sky was beautiful and the sea the most lovely colour.
The Puriri tree is very old and I have thought how great this old tree is!
Hugs Carolyn
These photographs are amazing. This art is not with every person to see nature’s beauty and you have done a great job.

I appreciate your thinking that we can get much more beauty of nature while walking than a car drive. I also like these photographs that you attach in this blog.

ReplyDeleteThese are incredible vistas. Stunning views....you are fortunate. That tree does look very old. It has a lot of character. I've never heard of the Puriri tree...
ReplyDeleteI am learning new things here.
Hi Lavinia,
ReplyDeleteThe Puriri tree is native to NZ and can grow to 1000 years old and up to 40-60 ft high.
The fruit is bright red and native birds feast on the berries.
A lot of souvenirs, bowls and hand made products are made from the wood.
Hi Carolyn..I love your photographs...don't you just love walking by water. I always feel at peace by the water...so mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is very unusual...pretty with the old branches.
Have a great week!
Hugs, Nancy
Hi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteYes, it is so lovely and tranquil
being near the water.
Congratulations on having your work on the front cover of a magazine - great work.
