Window shopping along Sloane Street

We took an early morning walk  on our way to Harrods, in Knightsbridge.
While the shops had not opened yet, this was a great opportunity to snap a few photos while walking by all these posh shops.

I love window shopping everything was so beautifully displayed.
Hopefully it should provide some eye candy for you to look at.

We are still getting over the jet lag - wake at 3 am - thinking it is time to get up  and such a strange feeling... and just to muddle us up some more, day light saving started here in NZ at the weekend.
Happy October
I wish you a perfect day
hugs
Carolyn

  2. Dearest Carolyn,
Oh, it takes you a while for adjusting and your time difference is even less than the 12 hours we always had to bridge when flying to work in Indonesia... Also age has a lot to do with it; when we were younger it made us fluff back faster! Ha-ha.
Lovely window shopping, that's quite a while ago since I was in London. Love the La Perla items; got hooked on that after having worked and lived in Italy. Luckily we have La Perla Outlets here in the USA!
Hugs to you and take your time for adjusting back to your time.

  4. Hello dear Carolyn

Oh YES you found some wonderful eye candy for us - great displays.
I could spend a fortune in La Perla alone!
Early morning is the best time for photos before people get in your way - big cities like London especially.

I KNOW JET LAG......... it's not fair is it - the 28-30 hour trip home is bad enough but then getting back into the NZ sleep pattern is something again - I'm thinking of you!

    Much love and hugs
it's so good to have you safely back home Carolyn!

I hope you are feeling better after your long trip to Europe!
For this reason I was never in your country!
I hate long flights, after traveling so much times for years.
But perhaps one day ....it' s so beautiful in your country and I want to see the little islands near Tahiti ...
I wish you a sunny relaxing week!
    With love,

  13. Dearest Carolyn,
    Happy October to you!
My goodness, this year is flying by and it will be Christmas before I know it and onto the new year.

Love the window shopping. I use to be a window trimmer and so I do notice these outstanding windows that are really tastefully done. A great presentation.

May you get over jet lag and be good as new soon. Blessings and have a sweet Autumn,
    d

  24. Hi Carolyn,

Those shops look really posh, I wonder if I would be able to pick anything from them. Nevertheless, it's wonderful to look and enjoy them from the outside and see what all things they have got to offer. Many thanks for taking us on a virtual shopping spree,

Wish you a wonderful weekend ahead,
