I am feeling much better after a dose of the Tamiflu vaccination and seems strange to have the flu when the sun is shinning and the weather is hot out there.

Happy December and the winners are.....

Santa has just had a big makeover ~ I used to enjoy seeing him and his reindeer, as a little girl and he used to wink one eye and had a beckoning finger.
This Santa has been part of Auckland's heritage since 1960.
The inviting finger has been given the flick, as the noise the motors made upset apartment dwellers who had bedrooms a few metres from old Santa.

I took a few photos of Christmas in Auckland City, the other day when I was shopping.
I apologize for the quality of the photos - The shop window of Smith & Caughey's a big department store was lovely. I especially loved the Ballerina mice all dressed up in their tutus. You really had to be there to see them, as the reflection from the glass was hard to get a good photo.

By now many of us will have seen the amazing talent of Susan Boyle, the Scotish Lady that has entered the competition ~ Britian has got talent.
What I love about this woman is that she was at ease with who she was and has a great sense of humor.
Shame that so many laughed at her, thinking that only beautiful people can have beautiful voices.
I hope that we will hear more from this talented Lady as she sang so well and had me reaching for a hankie. Best of luck to her.
