Friendship

Friendship is such a wonderful thing
Writing a blog is a life changing experience that connects you with friends from all around the world
I am grateful for the many wonderful friends I have made here and feel so very lucky

Recently I went to my mail box and inside was a package and rushed inside to open it. There was a prettily wrapped present, from my dear friend Dorthe.
The most beautiful bird she had lovingly made me and the sweet card with a pretty cream coloured cloth rose - perfection. Birdie looked very happy sitting next to my bird house and colour co-ordinated. I have always had a love for birds and nests

I am always amazed at her creative work. Many thanks Dorthe and  so touched by your sincere kindness.

I hope life is treating you well ~ As always thanks for stopping by
Wishing you a wonderful week dear friends
hugs
Carolyn

  1. Oh Carolyn, how very special to receive a present from our dear Dorthe.
She is one of my favourite artists, I love how she brings a little part of nature to all her pieces.
Birds are my favourites too - I have been collecting lots of bits and pieces to create a bird themed collage. Now I just need the time - that's the problem with working!
    Happy week sweet friend

  23. Dearest Carolyn,
Yes, you are so right about that and it is very meaningful.
Just over the weekend I was organizing my Mac and I've finally changed my mailboxes where all Blogger friends are together and than the usual friends. I took a look at it and noticed that the row of Blogger friends was longer... Special people over the years that helped us through some valleys in life and we share some joy and sadness; real bonding!
Sending you hugs and hope for many more years of reading and virtually visiting each other.
