Out on my walk

As much as I love the lazy days of summer, today there has been a slight nip in the air which I am enjoying.
There were a few things this morning on my walk, that made me pull my iphone out of my pocket and take a few snaps.

The sweet bunnies were happily nibbling the grass for breakfast and were so quiet when I walked by. They must be someones pets as I have seen them out on the berm before

Sharing the love, the personalized number plate  from this Volkswagen Kombi

The sum of the whole is this:
walk and be happy,
walk and be healthy.
The best way to lengthen out our days
is to walk steadily and with a purpose
~ Charles Dickens

Thank you for visiting my blog today dear friends
Do hope you are enjoying your week and won't be long and it will be the weekend again.
hugs
Carolyn

  4. Dear Carolyn - autumn and spring walks are the best as you have shown - a nip in the air is so refreshing after the heat of summer. In our young days we had a VW but it was a Beetle.

  8. Hi dear Carolyn,
Stunning red tone, the hollyhock flowers have, Love it.
And the bunnies looks cute...Only here we have wild rabbits, all over. That comes as the foxes are not more living on the island, all died... so the rabbits running away from their "homes" have multiplied to enormous quantities. All over in our and everyones, gardens there are digged holes, where they live and get more babies. Last year my husband had to kill 8 babies, in the middle of my rose-bed , They would have under-eliminated it all. NOT so lovely.
Sweet LOVE number -plate, and so love the qoute you added, dear.
    Hugs from me.

  13. I can see why you got your ihone out to take pictures of these delightful things. Love that VW license plate. It's funny that the bunnies stayed put when you walked by. They always run away so quickly when I'm out in nature. Maybe these were pets, as you said.

    Happy April, dear Carolyn.

  14. Dearest Carolyn,
Some very interesting photos to share here. The bunnies are cute and they sure look like pets!
You made me laugh out loud when I enlarged the VW photo and read: LOVEVW! That sure is a statement.
We're having severe weather, tornado like with heavy rains. But around midnight it will be over. Might have to turn the light on... so dark! We had no internet and no cell phone service for a while.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  16. Dear Caryoln,
What a lovely walk! Yes, I believe those are someones pets.. The one in front looks like a lop eared rabbit.. They are so sweet. And what a beautiful Hollyhock!

It was so kind of you to visit. I fear I have over extended my body this past week.. Have been out in the garden almost daily doing something physical. So I think I will just enjoy it for a few days. I think my mind is 30 years younger than my body.. haaa
    Blessings,
    Penny
