Pretty in pink

Just popping in to wish you all a happy weekend

Would like to show off my sweet little Cecil Brunner rose again and I wish you could smell the gorgeous fragrance.
It is a prolific grower and already, it has reached to the top of the  obelisk that I have it growing up.

Every year the Sky Tower glows pink for the entire month of October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness- I had intended doing this post back then but sometimes life has a way of changing things

DD dressed as Catwoman at an event she went to recently and had her photo taken with Jenna Coleman, Clara from Doctor Who
In her high boots she looked tall alongside Clara, who our daughter said was really lovely.

I hope your weekend is full of things that make you happy
Carolyn x

  5. Good morning sweet Carolyn! Your rose, I can almost smell it from here, with my IMAGINATION. We are under a thin blanket of snow now, and roses are only a faded memory, but the fun of having friends in other parts of the world is awesome.

May the power of love fill you life today. Anita

  27. Carolyn,
Your pink roses are a soft and pretty color. Your daughter looks adorable as Catwoman. Love the red lipstick! Every time I see red lipstick, I want to go out and buy myself some. I haven't worn it in years.

Such a sweet pink post today. Enjoy the week ahead.

    love,

  37. Hi Carolyn,
Those antique pink roses do look beautiful and I can imagine that they would smell sweet!
I did not know the Sky Tower went pink every October, that must be a recent thing. I have been to the top many times, when I lived in Auckland. I do miss Devonport and the city center, especially the theater, it's an amazing building and maybe you will do a post about it one day.
Your daughter is a beautiful girl, a New Zealand rose instead of an English one!
    Jo. xx
