The image of Marilyn Monroe, which was set up in the City square, is made up of thousands of test pots of paint and attached to two containers. It was one of those things that you have to bring out your cellphone and take a photo, so would like to share it with you .
More than 50 years after Marilyn first appeared before film audiences, her image as a glamour icon still resonates today.
Here are a few beautiful pictures of her.
Like Princess Diana, and Amy Winehouse it is always sad when anyone is taken before living their life to old age.
Do hope that you are enjoying the week
hugs
Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYes,regardless of her fame, her ending has been very tragic. Being happy when becoming such a public figure seems to be nearly impossible.
Great photos and the one on your city square is a piece of art work.
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute, adorable actress she was. The figures from old movies are all who we thought were above the clouds. I do hope she felt her life loved by all over the world was a wonderful one.
Certainly draws people's attention and I would take pictures if I were with you♡♡♡

ReplyDeleteWow, pretty neat. I don't think there are very many people, even the young ones who don't know who she is...I sometimes wonder what she would think of all her fame even after she past. Wishing you a wonderful weekend my friend.
