Giving thanks
So much to be thankful for today ~
I always wake up grateful and give thanks for the new day
My loving family which mean the world to me
My friends, both new and old, who inspire, encourage me and bring so much joy into my life.
Who would have thought before we started blogging, that we would have made such wonderful friends from all around the world.
It's Spring and I love to open the window and let the fresh air in and listen to the birds in the trees, and this brings a smile to my face.
Flowers I get excited when I see them growing well in the garden
The tomato plants are looking good and can't wait until we can make salads and sandwiches with them. After last years crop which was abysmal. Fresh asparagus are in the shops and so good for the evening meal.
Each day comes bearings it's own gifts ~ untie the ribbons.
Wishing a happy Thanksgiving, to my Amercian friends and a wonderful weekend to all
Also want to say thank you for going to visit my daughter to say hello.
hugs
Carolyn

Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wishes for Thanksgiving. We had a lovely dinner with our best friends at their home. That was a blessing for me as my back was not letting me do anything... Stayed warm in bed today and rested, it feels better already.
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Good morning Carolyn! Thank you for visiting yesterday! My first art show was actually a great experience to see the reality of our economy. I am not sure how things would have gone if things were better because out of all the artists, only one gentleman, at least what I noticed, was making many sales. The style of the art at the Center was all the same, and here I was with a more whimsical style that I believe this particular crowd was not expecting. LIVE AND LEARN!!!
ReplyDeleteMany wishes of joy for YOU today!! Anita
What a fabulous post, happy thanksgiving. Wish you the best!

Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI love your 'thankful' list. I smiled when you mentioned your tomatoes because my dad used to have a garden across the street from our house, and he would bring home the nicest looking tomatoes. There's nothing like home grown tomatoes, ya know? Your flowers are so lovely in your garden.

ReplyDeleteHope you've had a lovely Thanksgiving, what a lovely post. It always seems weird to think that of course it's Spring on the other side of the world just as it's getting cold and dark here.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your lovely comment on my blog, I really appreciate it. Have a great Sunday (or is it Monday yet where you are?) xo
