The last week of May

As I took a photo of the sweet little vintage shoe my friend Marsha sent me, I found myself wondering who had originally worn this darling shoe.
I love how Marsha has altered it with beautiful flowers and a darling tag, many thanks Marsha.
I feel so lucky we stumbled upon each others blogs and we instantly became friends.

Many thanks for all the kind birthday wishes for Victoria.
Writing a blog is a life changing experience that connects you with people all over the world and I am grateful for many beautiful friends, I have got to know.

My family and I went out for a birthday celebratory dinner on Tuesday evening - we had a private room in the O'Connell Street Bistro, where the food and service was amazing.  The icing on the cake was the chocolate cake that had been baked for us and was a great way to finish the evening.

To all of you living in Italy and your loved ones, who are experiencing the earthquakes, my thoughts  go out to you. Ni, Michela, Lilybets, Monica,  and any of my friends I have missed, stay safe and sending my love and hugs.

Thanks so much for stopping by ~ have a wonderful day
Hugs
Carolyn

I too wonder who wore the little shoes . . . you're most welcome, Carolyn, and I too am so glad we "met"!!!

Since we were gone for a couple of days we haven't been paying too much attention to the news so I didn't hear about the earthquate until this morning.
