Happy new week


Every single day there are moments of joy and happiness in the little things in life.


I have been spending some time painting on the high side of the deck rails, so it means standing on the ladder, balancing and not looking down ... hopefully will only have one more morning and will have the job finished. 
So don't really have much exciting things to share.

March, marks the end of summer here for us and already there is a nip in the evening air.
When the alarm goes off at 6am, it is dark outside now,   but I really love the Autumn days where the sky is blue and clear and the weather a little cooler.

    I hoping you get your painting job completed soon. Oh my, I HATE to paint anything. And because I hate it so much, I am not good at it at all. Just be careful on that ladder!

    Dear Carolyn,
    here Spring si gone again.today it is grey and dull, and windy and it started raining again .........but....we make the best out of this weather, sitting at the sewing machine ;O)

    I enjoy painting however it seems to take me forever to get it done with work and family duties. I just finished a huge ceiling and didn't like the experience one bit! A real pain "in the neck" as a matter a fact! Lol :) Good luck and careful not to fall.

    It is true, there is magic in the little things in life. It was a sunny day today and spring is in the air here. I heard a woodpecker in the trees, in my garden. It was making an amazing sound!
    Ah, I remember late summer and early autumn in NZ. It is a very different Autumn to England and I miss those incredible blue skies. Wellington and Auckland have the best light I have ever seen. Perfect places to live for an artist. I miss Devonport and the sea!
